Renaming files

On request, we have made it possible to rename audio files that are linked to (as opposed to being hosted on the ScribeManager server), and also files that result from telephone dictation.

Contact logins

A magnifying glass icon has been added beside each client contact name on the Jobs List page.  Clicking on that icon enables administrators to see what their clients see when they log in to their own version of ScribeManager.

Audio file download on client login

An issue was reported wherein clients were unable to download original and converted audio files on their logins.  This has been corrected.

Zip file download

An issue was reported wherein small zip files that were uploaded could not be unencrypted on download.  This has been rectified.

Page loading speed

An issue was reported wherein page load times had increased on Jobs List pages.  This has been rectified.

Auto-claim issue

An issue was reported wherein when a job was set to auto-claim, the "typist group" drop-down for all files reverted to "all" from whichever setting it was previously on.  This has been corrected.

NTF included in automated email

On request, the text in the NTF field (Notes to Typist for this File) is now being added to the body of emails that notify transcribers of a file allocation.  The "NTF" field is on the Job Edit page.  This means that when allocating, an administrator can add comments to that field, then save the page, and the text in that field will be seen by the transcriber as soon as they receive the automated email.

Delayed arrival of email about duplicate files

An issue was reported wherein ScribeManager emails that warn of duplicate file uploads from the same client were being delayed, sometimes by several days.  Upon investigation, it appears that this delay was caused simply by the huge number of audio file names that ScribeManager was having to compare in its query.  A fix has been programed.

Cascade feature

An issue was reported wherein the cascade feature did not work if there was a very large number of files in a job.  This has been rectified.

Inactive typists

A request was received for inactive typists to appear in a section of their own at the foot of the list of System Users.  This has been complied with.

Extraneous slashes added to some emails

An issue was reported wherein slashes were being added to emails.  This is caused by the way in which php code works.  A way around this has been programmed.

% of upload on Jobs List page

An issue was reported wherein the % of completed upload was not displaying correctly on the Jobs List page.  This has been rectified.

Upload % issue

An issue was reported wherein for a small minority of users the % of file uploaded displays immediately at 99%, although the upload otherwise completes as normal.  This appears to occur only in cases of slow user bandwidth.  A note has been added to the upload page advising users to let the upload continue.
